In 1991, Tom Callahan promoted his first arts and crafts show at the UNI Dome in Cedar Falls, Iowa with the help of his wife, Kim and other family members. Since then, he has remained committed to promoting quality arts and crafts shows all over the state of Iowa (and even some in Illinois) with the continued help of his family. In recent years, his daughter, Kelli, has taken on more of a role within the family business.

Callahan Promotions, Inc. is dedicated to promoting well organized, hand-crafted only arts and crafts shows. Maintaining that reputation has always been more important to Tom than selling spaces. The talent and quality of the crafters that participate in Callahan shows has always been one of the main reasons the shows have been successful.
